“Approachable Open Source” Available for Preorder

Brian announced that his book “Approachable Open Source” is, at last, available for preorder.

I’m really excited for this. I worked with Brian at Target while contributing to the internal Target-flavored create-react-app1 product which he was—and still is—a lead2 engineer on. Brian is a great engineer, superb writer, and generally lovely human, so I’m really looking forward to reading what he’s been working on the behind the scenes for all these years.

Prior to publishing this I preordered it. You can too.

  1. Before I left in 2022 I think it was slated to be migrated to Next.js. 🤷…↩︎

  2. Now, technically a Principal under Target’s role leveling.↩︎
