Mermaid Diagrams on CSS-Tricks
Published
Woohoo! I’m published! Check it out: https://css-tricks.com/making-mermaid-diagrams-in-markdown/
Briefly: it’s a technical piece focusing on how to take Mermaid diagrams written in Markdown and display them client-side on your website. I ended up diving into how to solve this a couple months back and realized it would be a good fit for a technical writing piece as it took lots of work on my part and fit the bill of being “something I wished I found when I [searched] for it.”
I’ve been interested in getting published for a couple years and CSS-Tricks felt like the perfect fit since it was a core part of how I taught myself web dev early on. During the final stages of the editing loop I caught wind of the pending acquisition by DigitalOcean which delayed the publishing timeline by about a month while communication channels shifted and processes changed.
Congrats to Chris & the rest of the CSS-Tricks team on the acquisition. :)
I love hearing from readers so please feel free to reach out.
